Beijing, March 22 (Youth.cn) - On March 21st, 2024, in Changchun, the world's first hydrogen-powered regional train successfully completed a full-load operational trial at a speed of 160 kilometers per hour. This marked the first time that a hydrogen-fueled train underwent a comprehensive system-wide and multi-level performance validation across various scenarios. During the trial, the train's average energy consumption per kilometer was just 5 kilowatt-hours, with a maximum range exceeding 1,000 kilometers. Photo/ VCG
